You can reach the Glocknerwinkel - the last parking lot before the Großglockner - in just 15 minutes from our farm in Kals am Großglockner via the Kalser Glocknerstraße. Whether for hiking, lingering, taking photos or, with a bit of luck, spotting wildlife: An impressive mountain backdrop awaits you up there. The Glockner nature trail is particularly family-friendly, inviting you to enjoy a relaxed hike in the midst of high alpine nature. If you prefer a more active approach, you can hike from the farm along the forest road and past old mountain farms up to the top in around 2 hours. And for an enjoyable break, it's worth stopping off at the Lucknerhaus with its excellent regional cuisine.
