The meditation of the 4 cardinal points is a dynamic movement meditation that combines elements of Sufi dance and Tai Chi to release physical and mental tension through rhythmic movements. To flowing music, you turn clockwise in the cardinal directions (east, south, west, north) to build energy, center yourself, express physical beauty and find inner peace.
The four directions represent different qualities: east (air/inspiration), south (fire/transformation), west (water/feeling) and north (earth/wisdom).
The body turns mindfully and fluidly, accompanied by open breathing and an open posture in each cardinal direction to connect with the energies.
The exercise, often combined with gentle piano drum music, promotes inner balance, mindfulness and the release of tension.
