LBV Adlerhütte (50 meters before the gabled house in Hinterstein)

Chalet Hirschbach
The King of the Skies. That’s another name for the golden eagle.
Anyone who has ever seen this bird in person understands why.
With a wingspan of up to 230 cm, you can suddenly feel quite small.
The area around the Landesbund für Vogelschutz e. V. (LBV) eagle hut offers particularly good opportunities for sightings, even though there’s naturally no guarantee. There’s also a very good chance of spotting marmots and other Alpine animals.
In addition to the guided hike, you’ll have the opportunity to take a look inside the LBV’s Adlerhütte, where you can discover many more fascinating stories and facts about the king of the skies and its habitat.
Guided tours led by LBV excursion guides or Alpinium rangers and Alpinium nature guides.
What to bring: Sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, drinks, and possibly a small snack.
In case of bad weather, we reserve the right to cancel the tour on short notice.
