Hike Dalfaz waterfall

Experience the impressive power of the Dalfazer Waterfall—a natural highlight in the Rofan Mountains. Enjoy a varied hike with magnificent views over Lake Achensee.

With a drop of about 60 meters, the Dalfazer Waterfall is the highest waterfall in the Rofan Mountains and also the largest on Lake Achensee. Located on the sunny side above the lake, it is considered a special place of power in the heart of nature. From the hotel, we’ll take the hotel bus to Maurach—a ride of about 10 minutes. The hike begins at the parking lot along a trail through a sparse forest, leading to the waterfall in about 45 minutes. After a short break to enjoy the impressive view, we’ll take a leisurely walk back down a forest road into the valley.

Please wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of snacks.
