Spinnfried is a little spider with a great love of art in his heart. High up in the attic, he weaves beautiful webs—but no one sees them, because Spinnfried is very afraid of the world outside. It’s only when the wind blows his favorite web away that he summons all his courage and ventures out. In the process, he loses one of his colorful socks, but gains something much more valuable: new friends, a great adventure, and confidence in himself. Together with Konrad the Beetle and many others, he discovers that the world isn’t so dangerous after all—and that sometimes you just have to set out to find happiness.
