Details

Accompanied by SAV hiking guide Georg Enderle, the trail runs the first few meters along the Jakobsweg, then in the direction of Möggenweiler past the historic water elevated tank along a graveled forest path towards the "Panzerwiese", a wonderful vantage point. Past the tennis courts over the "Wilhelmshöhe" we walk along the Trimm-Dich path steadily ascending through the forest up the Gehrenberg, also partly over unpaved (in wet conditions somewhat slippery) forest paths. But once out of the forest, the overwhelming view from the "Gehrenberg slide" compensates for all the effort. From there, after a total of about 6 km, it is only a few hundred meters to the Gehrenberg tower, where we meet for a refreshing drink and enjoy the view over Lake Constance.

Please do not forget to register in time!

+ SUSTAINABILITY:

Along the way we will collect trash. Reusable garbage bags and stainless steel tongs will be handed out at the starting point. We support the sustainability days Baden-Württembwerg - for clean hiking trails in the region.

The hike is free of charge - we collect for new orchard trees in the region.

+ APPLE WEEKS:

At the Gehrenberg tower, the reward is a juicy Lake Constance apple and, on a donation basis, sparkling Secco and juice spritzers.

+ RETOUR:

With the Wirthshof shuttle back to the starting point (on a donation basis for scattered fruit trees).

With the Emma collective cab from the Gehrenbergturm stop.

Or on foot along a beautiful nature trail about 3 km in about 40 minutes.

The Swabian Albverein, local group Markdorf is very happy to be able to realize hiking passion together with members, guests and all other interested people on this day.

Out into nature and in the fresh air in movement is the slogan on the ACTIVE IN THE NATURE DAY in completely Markdorf.
