Hike to the Brechsee - cancelled due to weather - instead hike on the valley floor

Söllbergalm - Brechsee - Mauchelealm

We take the hotel bus above Rehwald. First we walk along the forest road in the direction of Mauchele Alm and from there a hunter's path leads over to Söllbergalm. However, we immediately continue on the next trail up to the Brechsee. This mountain lake is located at 2145m and with its crystal clear water it invites you to dream, relax and take a dip.

The descent is via the Mauchele Alm, where we stop for a break. Via the forest path we descend again towards Rehwald.

Difficulty rate: Ascent and descent red, 600 Hm

Pure walking time approx. 4 ½ hrs.

Duration of the tour approx. 6 hrs.
