Guided hike to the Maxhütte

Experience an impressive hike in the pristine mountain world of the Zillertal! Our shuttle bus takes you comfortably from the hotel in the Zemmgrund to the idyllic mountaineering village of Ginzling.

Located at around 1,000 meters above sea level, Ginzling impresses with an imposing backdrop of mighty three-thousand-metre peaks. From here, the famous "Gunggl" and "Floitengrund" high valleys lead deep into the alpine nature.

Our hike starts in Ginzling and takes us steadily uphill through a shady forest to the rustic Maxhütte in around 1.5 hours. The unique landscape of the "Gunggl" awaits you there - an almost mystical scenery that invites you to linger and enjoy. We stop for refreshments before taking the same relaxed route back.

We recommend good footwear and clothing suitable for the weather (a change of clothes if required).
