Starting from the parking lot at the Grente Alm, this rewarding mountain hike leads along the Grentesteig trail to the Rammelstein, the striking landmark at the entrance to the Antholz Valley. The scenic summit offers an impressive 360° panoramic view—with magnificent vistas of the glaciated 3,000-meter peaks of the Rieserferner Group as well as the Dolomite peaks to the south. On the ascent, the rustic Grente Alm invites you to take a leisurely break and offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Antholz Valley in its own right. An all-around rewarding tour for connoisseurs and lovers of panoramic views.
