mikroVERSUM - A Journey of Discovery Through the Universe of Microorganisms in Zirl

The interactive learning and discovery space mikroVERSUM takes you on a fascinating journey into the world of microorganisms—every Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.

They’re invisible, yet indispensable: microorganisms. In some places, we’d rather not encounter them—such as when they appear as mold on bread. In other areas of life, we depend on them—even the oxygen we breathe would be unthinkable without them. And sometimes we humans actively use them—for example, to improve skin health or even the sewage system. In short: at the mikroVERSUM, a “Ew!” at the sight of mold quickly turns into an amazed “Ooh!”
