Starting point of our hike is the Nassreid Farm. Following the trail, we enter the valley in the direction of Casera di Fuori (Vorderkaser)Continuing slightly uphill we reach Casera di Mezzo (Mitterkaser), where the vast alpine pastures of the valley begin. We pass Malga Rableid and continue to the 2,000 m elevation of our destination, Maso Gelato (Eishof), which we reach after almost 7 km of walking..
