Dinner attire

In order to bring your day to a glamorous end and to emphasize the special nature of an evening with us, we would be delighted if you came to dinner in elegant attire.

Adapter

Do you need an adapter or have you forgotten your cell phone charging cable? Please contact our reception, they will be happy to help you.

All without cash

You do not need cash in the restaurant, in the Lilien-Lounge & Bar am See and in our Ludwig Refugium. You sign the respective receipt and we will charge the amount to your room bill. On departure, you can pay with cash, EC or credit card.

Arrival and departure

On the day of arrival, your room will be ready for occupancy from 15:00. On the day of departure, we ask you to vacate your room by 10:30 am at the latest. You are welcome to leave your luggage at reception so that you can enjoy our beautiful surroundings for a few more hours. You also have the option of using our Ludwig Spa free of charge until 15:00 on the day of departure.

Excursions

Information material about the surrounding area and the numerous excursion options can be found on the library wall in the lobby. You can also plan your day digitally here. We are also happy to advise you personally!

Car

Park your car free of charge in one of our parking spaces or in our underground garage for a fee of €8 per day. There are also electric charging stations available on our hotel grounds for a fee. We are happy to park your car on request.

Bathroom

If you wish, we can change your hand and bath towels during the daily room cleaning. Place the used towels on the floor in your bathroom. Think about the environment when changing your linen! We would also ask you not to take the sauna towels laid out in the sauna area into your room. We will be happy to provide you with a bathroom stool on request.

Bed linen

Your bed linen is changed at regular intervals. We can also change your bed linen daily on request. Please inform our reception staff. A comforter is provided for you as standard. If you require an additional pillow, a bolster, a neck pillow, a woollen blanket or bed linen for allergy sufferers, please inform our reception. Our housekeeping team will respond to your request immediately.

Handling service

Would you like to have your blouse, shirt etc. ironed? You will receive your laundry back within an hour. Please contact our reception for this. 921.

Bicycle

You can park your bike free of charge in the Alpenrose hotel garage, where there is a separate, secure parking space for bicycles.

Bike rental

With our professional bike rental partner Easy-Tours, we offer you the best conditions to get to know the Allgäu by bike. We have trekking bikes and e-bikes for you!

Please contact our reception team daily from 11:00 - 13:00 or the day before from 18:00 - 21:00. You are also welcome to charge your bike battery there.

Feedback

The feedback from our guests and your suggestions, improvement requests and ideas are very important to us. We always have an open ear for you. We take the liberty of sending you an e-mail three days after your departure asking you to complete a questionnaire. Thank you in advance for taking a moment to do this.

Television

If you have any problems, please contact reception.

Fitness

Our Fit & Fun Lodge and our yoga lounge are open daily from 07:00 to 22:00. We offer you a varied activity program or individual, supervised training on request. You will receive the current course schedules upon arrival and can find them daily in our hotel newsletter.

Breakfast

From 7:30 am to 11:00 am, we spoil you with our Allgäu breakfast buffet in our restaurant parlors. You have free choice of seating at breakfast. We are also happy to serve you breakfast in your room. Please use the tablet in your room or ask at reception. We charge a one-off fee of €15 for our breakfast service.

If you have lost or found something, please contact reception.

Guest card

You will receive your personal guest card at reception, which allows you to use the regional bus free of charge, among other things. For the sake of the environment, we print guest cards on request.

Luggage service

We are happy to help you with your luggage. Please contact our reception staff on tel. 921. You are also welcome to leave your luggage at reception on the day of departure so that you can enjoy your last day of your vacation to the full.

Golf

Do you enjoy playing golf? As an Allgäu Top Hotel guest, you receive the Allgäu Golf Pass free of charge and get a 15% discount on many Allgäu golf courses.

Our partner golf course "Auf der Gsteig" in Lechbruck grants you a 20% discount.

Gift voucher

Give a loved one the most valuable goods in the world with the "King Ludwig Voucher": relaxation, new strength and time! Everyone is individual and will be delighted to be able to choose the "perfect gift" for them. Vouchers can be purchased at our reception or online on our homepage in the Voucher World.

Mobile phone

To protect the privacy of our guests, we ask you not to use cell phones with cameras in the Ludwig SPA or to turn them on silent. Alternatively, we ask you to cover the camera.

Main entrance

Our hotel entrance is locked between 10 pm and 7 am. However, you have access at all times with your room card.

Laundry

You will find a laundry bag in your closet and the laundry list in the hotel folder. If required, we ask you to leave the laundry in the bag with the completed laundry list in your room. Your laundry will be returned to you within 24 hours.

Hygiene articles

Have you forgotten something at home? You can get various hygiene items (toothbrush, toothpaste, sewing kit, shoe shine kit, razor, tampons, etc.) at our reception.

Internet

Our free Wi-Fi is publicly accessible (without password).

Hunting

The hotel has a fantastic hunting ground in the Ammergau Alps. All the venison from chamois, red deer and roe deer is used and refined in our kitchen. For us, this is an honorable obligation, but above all it is also associated with a great love of our homeland and nature.

Copies

Do you need a copy? Of course, this is possible at our reception.

Refrigerator

You will find an unstocked refrigerator in your room. This can be used to cool drinks, medication and much more. If you would like us to serve you drinks in your room, our 24-hour drinks service is there for you. Please ask for our drinks and minibar selection on tel. 921. If you have booked a suite at Haus Fernblick, your minibar will be filled and charged according to consumption.

Carriage ride

At any time of year, it's worth exploring the surrounding area with a carriage or sleigh ride. Of course, you can reach all the well-known highlights in and around Schwangau by horse-drawn carriage. We can also organize individual routes and requests for you, so that your carriage ride becomes the highlight of your vacation. Our reception team will be happy to help you.

Lilien-Lounge/Hotelbar

Our Lilien-Lounge & Bar by the lake is open daily from 12:00 to 0:30. You are also welcome to stay here in your bathrobe during the day. From 13:00 to 18:00 we offer freshly prepared à la carte dishes from our show kitchen as well as cakes and coffee. In the evening, we welcome you in a stylish atmosphere for an aperitif, cocktail, wine and pleasant conversation.

Packed lunch

We recommend our packed lunch service for your journey home. We charge €15 per packed lunch for this service. Please place your order in the restaurant by 20:00 the evening before.

Ludwig Refugium

You can let yourself be pampered in our Ludwig Refugium. For appointments and advice, our spa reception is open from 10:00 to 13:30 and from 14:30 to 19:00 or you can call us on 765. You will find the range of treatments in our spa edition in your room folder.

Mail

Your incoming mail is available at reception every day from around 11:00. We are happy to accept your mail personally and send it for you. You can also obtain stamps from reception.

Smoking

The König Ludwig is a non-smoking hotel. Of course, you can enjoy your cigarette on the entire outdoor area, on your balcony/terrace or in our smoking lounge. In our smoking lounge we also offer you a well-equipped humidor. Our bar team will be happy to advise you.

Umbrella

We won't leave you out in the rain! We provide umbrellas on loan at our reception.

Restaurant Stuben

We welcome you in our Restaurant Stuben from 6:30 pm and ask you to arrive by 8:15 pm. Our Lilien-Lounge & Bar by the lake is open until midnight.

Reception

Our reception team is there for you every day from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Our night porter is available from 22:00 to 7:00 on tel. 921.

Roomservice

We are happy to bring you drinks and snacks from our Lilien-Lounge & Bar to your room for a room service fee of € 5. For our breakfast and evening meal service, we charge a one-off fee of €15.

Safe

Each room has its own room safe. There is a central safe at our hotel reception. Please contact us if you would like to leave your valuables there.

Sauna world

Our saunas and steam baths are open daily from 10:30-20:00. We kindly ask you not to reserve any loungers.

Swimming areas

Our swan pool, sports pool and outdoor whirlpool are open daily from 7:00 to 22:00. We ask you not to reserve any loungers here either. You can use our two natural swimming lakes at any time. In your own interest, please do not leave any valuables in your bathrobe, towel or elsewhere in our swimming and sauna areas! We cannot accept any liability for any damage.

Shop

In our hotel store you will find decorative items and selected gifts. You will also find small delicacies such as chocolates, honey, sparkling wine and sausage specialties from our own hunt.

Sports equipment rental

You can hire hiking poles, snowshoes, bobsleds and toboggans from us. Please contact our reception!

Pets

We are also happy to welcome your dog at the König Ludwig.

We kindly ask you to request this before booking, as not all of our rooms can be occupied with four-legged friends. We charge € 40 per night and dog.

Ticket service

You can already purchase discounted tickets for the Tegelberg, Breitenberg and Buchenberg cable cars at our reception.

You would like to visit Neuschwanstein Castle or Hohenschwangau and the Museum of the Bavarian Kings - we would love to! Please contact our reception team in good time.

Wine

We have a great passion for wine and therefore invite you to our stylish vinotheque to get to know the world of wine. You can of course take your favorite wine home with you at vinotheque prices. Our sommelier will be happy to advise you!

Wellness service

Wellness service with loan bag and bathrobe in the room as well as sauna and bath towels in the entire SPA area. On departure, we ask you to leave the wellness bag with the towels and bathrobe in your room. You are welcome to purchase the wellness bag in the hotel store.

Bath slippers

In line with our commitment to environmental protection, we will deliberately refrain from providing disposable bath slippers in future. We cordially invite you to bring your own slippers for your visit to our wellness area. In this way, we combine maximum comfort with responsible action - and together we make a valuable contribution to conserving our resources. Forgot your slippers at home? You can get terry slippers at reception if required.

Yoga

We offer regular yoga classes in our yoga lounge (Haus Edelweiß 3rd floor). You will receive the course program upon arrival and you will find it daily in our house mail.

Means of payment

You can pay conveniently with your EC card by signature or personal secret number as well as with cash. Of course, we also accept Mastercard and Visa credit cards. Please note that most EC cards have a daily limit of €1,000.

Newspapers

You will find the current daily newspaper in our lobby for you to read.

Room card

Hold your room card to your room lock. While the blue light on the room lock lights up, you can open the door. Your room card is also the "key" for the main entrance, for access to the underground garage, for the bicycle room and for access to our Ludwig Spa. If you wish to enter the hotel after 23:00, please take your card with you. We would ask you to hand in your room card in person at reception on the day of departure.

Room cleaning

To avoid unnecessary knocking on your room door by our housekeeping team, we recommend that you attach the sign with the hook for "please clean" or cross for "please do not disturb" to the outside of the door handle.
