Guided Hike Val Monzoni, Lagusel and waterfalls

After a short shuttle bus ride from Pozza di Fassa, the hike begins at Malga Monzoni. From there, you ascend to the Pief pass and descend to the picturesque Lagusel (small lake). The hike continues across alpine pastures to the Sella de la Palacia, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Fassa Dolomites. Then, descend to the valley floor of Val San Nicoló with its waterfalls. After a stop at the nearby Baita delle Cascate, you descend through Val San Nicoló to the shuttle bus stop.

Hiking time: approx. 4 hours

Distance: approx. 12 kilometers

Elevation gain: approx. 670 meters, elevation loss: approx. 800 meters

Shuttle bus cost: €14 (€7 each way)

Difficulty: Moderate hike on well-maintained trails and paths; some sections are steep after the Forcella de la Palacia.
