A more challenging hike with spectacular views

We take the toll road to the Schlegeis reservoir at 1800 meters.

From there we hike towards the Olpererhütte. The ascent here takes around 1.5-2 hours - from the Olpererhütte it is just 2 minutes to the aforementioned Instagram hotspot, the suspension bridge over the reservoir. After a short refreshment stop, return to the parking lot.

NO RECOVERY POSSIBILITY at the Olpererhütte.
