EMM-1 Wilderness safari and outdoor cooking with Emma

Emma takes you into the magical nature around our Timber Lodge. With a bit of luck, you might spot wild animals in the wild. The outdoor cooking experience is guaranteed in any case. Emma will prepare a local specialty for you around the campfire.

Our local wilderness guide Emma will welcome you at our Timber Lodge. Partly by car and partly on foot, she will guide you through the beautiful forests around our Timber Lodge. It's not just about wildlife watching, it's mainly about discovering the secrets of nature.

Emma will show you some of the most beautiful places in the wilderness and places of historical significance. You will visit old buildings and learn about their use and history.

Finally, you can enjoy some campfire romance. Emma will prepare a local specialty for you over an open campfire. During the whole tour, Emma will tell you about local life in the forests, the history of the region and perhaps reveal a secret or two. For example, where to find the most beautiful cloudberries (hjortron).

Emma knows many of the animals (bears, wolves, moose, wolverines etc.) that roam around here personally and sees them all the time. This knowledge leads to a real chance of seeing a wild animal. The current probability is just under 50%.

WE RECOMMEND BOOKING AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE TO ENSURE THAT THE TOUR GOES AHEAD.

Equipment: Sturdy shoes, clothing suitable for the weather

Suitability: You should be able to walk 2-3 hours in the terrain without a walking aid
