Special Week: Sunrise Hike with Marion to the Poppekanzel

Across the Latemar meadows to the Latemar Kino and on to the Poppekanzel in the Latemar—a challenging hike, but one that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the legendary Dolomites.

Crossing the beautiful Latemar meadows, you’ll reach the Latemar Kino, which—as the name suggests—already offers the first magnificent panoramic views of the Rosengarten. The steep ascent to the Poppekanzel that follows may be somewhat challenging, but the spectacular view makes every effort worthwhile. The view stretches far across the majestic Pala Group, the striking Sella Massif, the mighty Marmolada, the distinctive Langkofel, the Ortler, the Ötztal Alps, and many other peaks in the Dolomites.
