Experience Nature—For Little Explorers

Together, we’ll go on a journey of discovery through nature. We’ll look at plants along the trail, watch colorful butterflies, and learn in a playful way about all the creatures that live outdoors. Things get especially exciting at the stream: With a little luck, we’ll find small aquatic animals and take a close look to see who’s hiding in the water. An easy hike for children ages five and up accompanied by an adult—a chance to marvel, discover, and enjoy the outdoors.

Duration: 3–3.5 hours

Walking time / Elevation gain: approx. 2 hours / 100 meters of elevation gain and loss

Refreshments: Please bring a drink in your backpack; during the hike,

you’ll take a break at the Franz-Josef-Hütte

Cost: Free for guests from partner establishments; €5 for children up to age 15
