Guided hike: Through the Roman gorge to Lake Saissersee

From the boat landing stage in Velden, you walk through the village to the Franzosenkirche church. The guided hike takes you through the Roman gorge to Lake Saissersee. You walk around the small moorland lake in the nature reserve to the "Veldener Kanzel". Enjoy the view over Lake Wörthersee and finally return to Velden via the Teufelsgraben.

Meeting point: 10:00 am | Velden boat landing stage (opposite the Schlosshotel)

Duration: approx. 3 hours in total, pure walking time approx. 2 hours, 170 meters in altitude

Equipment: hiking boots, rain protection, tour provisions and drink

Registration: No registration required but please bring the Wörthersee Pluscard with you. You can get this at the hotel reception.
