BERG-GESUND High-Altitude Hike to the Trögseen Lakes

A Fantastic High-Altitude Hike with Monika Höllwart — From the meeting point at the mountain railway parking lot in Großarl, we’ll take the hiking taxi to the Sonnegg Bridge. The ascent follows a forest trail to the Breitenebenalm; the route continues past the Großwildalm, and after a short break for refreshments, we head on to the Spat- and Karalm. Then we take a leisurely climb up to the Trögseen lakes, which offer a special experience of nature. They invite you to linger and unwind. From there, you’ll also enjoy a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. The trail then continues to the Ellmaualm, where delicious treats await. After a hearty meal, we head to the Grund parking lot in the Ellmautal, where the hiking taxi picks us up and takes us back to Großarl.
