Between the sky and the lake: the Pfänder
The Pfänder is a popular excursion destination for nature lovers, hikers and families.
There are numerous well-marked hiking trails and for those who prefer something a little more comfortable,
there is also a cable car that takes you to the summit. The Pfänderbahn has been taking visitors
up the mountain for over 90 years, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the
lake and the surrounding landscape.
At the top, a wide range of activities await you.
There are cozy restaurants and cafés (seasonal opening times) and an alpine wildlife park where you can observe native animals.
A little tip: The Pfänder has a webcam that provides you with live images every day. It's definitely worth taking a look at the webcam and the weather conditions before your visit.
