Surfmotion

Surfmotion Soma Bay is a first-class surf and kite center on the Red Sea, known for its ideal flat-water conditions and consistent winds. Its location near Port Safaga, about 40 km south of Hurghada, offers excellent conditions for windsurfing, kitesurfing, and wingfoiling.

The spot is suitable for both beginners and advanced riders, with separate areas for lessons and freeriding, ensuring a high level of safety.

Safety is a top priority, with rescue boats and clearly defined zones for different water sports. The location benefits from an “airplane wing effect” that amplifies wind speeds, providing stable wind conditions throughout the day. The center offers numerous amenities, including a panoramic terrace, a bar, umbrellas, lounge chairs, showers, and storage lockers for equipment.

Starting September 9, 2024, a license is required to use surf and kite equipment, which can be purchased on-site.
