Once around the Weißensee

This circular route takes you around one of the clearest lakes in the Alpine foothills with views of the magnificent mountain panorama around Füssen.

The starting point of the loop is the parking lot on the eastern shore of the lake. From there, you will take a rocky forest path along the south shore of the lake to the west shore.

Again and again there are beautiful views of the Weißensee. Afterwards, return to the parking lot on the north shore via a wide, unpaved path along the signs "Weißensee-Rundweg".

From the hotel, drive in the direction of Füssen-Weißensee. You will find the parking lot in the Salober Straße

below the Alatsee. From there, the circular trail is marked with a Nordic Walking logo and a "1".

The circular route covers about 6 km and a walk of 1.5 hours.
