The Bohemian town of Boží Dar is only around 4 kilometers from Oberwiesenthal and is ideal for a short excursion or a relaxing stroll through the town. In summer, you can also reach Boží Dar on foot via a well-maintained hiking trail, or alternatively it takes around 10 minutes by car.
The historic St. Anna's Church, which dominates the townscape and is one of the village's landmarks, is particularly worth seeing. There is also a small museum in the Boží Dar information center, which offers interesting insights into the history of the region. Here, visitors can learn interesting facts about the Ore Mountains - supplemented by interactive elements and photo motifs.
After a walk through the village, the Czech gastronomy invites you to linger. A regional specialty is particularly recommended: "Lívance s borůvkami" - small, fluffy pancakes with warm blueberries and cream, which are offered in many restaurants.

Note on parking: Parking in the center of Boží Dar is reserved exclusively for residents. This regulation also applies to the parking lot at the church. Visitors are requested to use the designated parking areas outside the center or to use public transport or the footpath from Oberwiesenthal.
