Rieser’s Cattle Drive on Wednesday, September 16
During the traditional cattle drive, after a successful summer in the alpine pastures, the cattle are led from the pastures down into the valley, adorned with bells and colorful headdresses made of woven twigs and flowers
Schedule:
*Around 7:00 a.m.: Departure from the Falkenmoosalm in Achenkirch toward Maurach
*Around 10:30 a.m.: Arrival at the Buchau Family Resort in Maurach
*Starting around 11:00 a.m., the animals are decked out, followed by the procession toward Pertisau
*Around 2:00 p.m., arrival at the Hotel Rieser Achensee Resort
*Around 3:30 p.m., we’ll head “home” to the Oberhaushof
*Music and festivities starting at 12:00 p.m. at the Hotel Rieser Achensee Resort in Pertisau
