You will reach the Drehhütte after a 1.5 hour climb on a wide forest path and overcoming 400 meters of altitude.
Afterwards you will certainly have an appetite for South Tyrolean and Allgäu specialties, which the Drehhütte host serves up. Schlutzkrapfen, Kaspressknödel with warm cabbage salad, Speckknödel and spinach, cheese and beetroot dumplings provide the unmistakable South Tyrolean touch.
