The motif is a design of one's own or a prepared carving template, which is pasted onto the wooden board. Carving is done at the workbenches with sharp tools: with carving irons and sculpting irons in different sizes and shapes and the wooden hammer, the motif can be carved on the piece of wood as a high or low relief. To carve plastic works and sculptures, a good imagination on the part of the performer is necessary.
