being.simple - Just BE in the moment & life can be SIMPLE. (My motto)
Hatha yoga and mindfulness can help us in our everyday lives to direct our perceptions from the outside to the inside. In this way, we can learn to perceive individual signals on a physical, mental and emotional level, appreciate them with confidence and act consciously. This is the basis for staying healthy and feeling good on life's journey.
Yoga for mental deceleration with TANJA GRATZER
Yoga is the quieting of all activities of the mind. (Patanjali, Yoga Sutra)
Hatha yoga is a mindful exercise practice that starts with the body with the aim of giving our body strength, stability, flexibility and lightness in order to calm the activities of the mind (e.g. stress-related thoughts).
Yoga has nothing to do with performance. Yoga only has to do with yourself. (Claudia Scheiderer)
Many people reduce yoga to physical exercises and believe that you can only practise yoga if you are well stretched, slim, young, healthy, strong and flexible. I know from my own experience that these thoughts almost stopped me from becoming a yoga teacher.
My tip to you: Don't believe everything you think, just try it out and let yourself be surprised by the yogic effect on the mat and in everyday life.
Yoga is not about touching your toes. It's about what you learn on the way down(Dr. Jigar Gor)
What you can learn on the "way down":
- Self-experience - Yoga techniques, such as meditations, breathing techniques and physical exercises, support you in getting to know yourself anew
- Being simple - Being in the here and now and letting yourself be touched by yourself
- Being in balance - Assessment-free, in harmony of body, mind and soul
- Giving yourself space - Feeling yourself (again), breathe deeply and experience lightness
- Be self-aware - Be aware of your own needs, set boundaries and come into your own power
- Come to rest - Turn your attention inwards, let go and be clear
- Change your perspective - Let yourself in, trust yourself, discover new things and grow
