Details

Experience a special guided hike in Innsbruck, where you’ll hike directly from the city center out into nature and up to the Arzler Alm.

Every Friday at 9:00 a.m., this easy alpine tour, led by a guide, takes you along the Inn River, through peaceful forest sections, and up to the Hungerburg, where you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of Innsbruck. Afterward, the route continues along a leisurely forest trail to the Arzler Alm before you hike back to the Hungerburg and take a comfortable bus ride back to the city center. The tour is ideal for anyone who wants to actively explore Innsbruck, experience nature, and enjoy a scenic hike with alpine charm.

The route covers about 7.5 km, with a walking time of approximately 3 hours, plus 480 meters of elevation gain on the ascent and 250 meters on the descent; please wear hiking or mountaineering boots and appropriate clothing.

The meeting point is the Innsbruck Tourist Information Office, Burggraben 3, 6020 Innsbruck. Participation is free with a valid Welcome Card, provided it is shown to the guide before the tour begins. Free cancellation is possible up to 48 hours before the start of the tour; dogs are not allowed; and the tour may be canceled due to insufficient participation, inclement weather, or other unforeseeable circumstances—in which case, any amounts already paid will, of course, be refunded in full.
