Hike past the Schleier Waterfall to the Sommerbergalm with Daniel

In the Footsteps of the Hintertux Glacier—Hike Across the Tuxerjoch!

We’ll take the bus to Hintertux, from where we’ll hike up to the Tuxerjoch. We’ll hike past the Schleierwaterfall and through the idyllic Weitental valley, home to many marmots. Once at the top, we’ll enjoy the magnificent view of the Tuxer Ferner. Afterward, we’ll hike down to the Sommerbergalm and look forward to a break there. After a bite to eat, we’ll take the gondola back down to the valley.

🍽️Places to stop for refreshments: Sommerbergalm, Tuxerjoch Haus

Equipment: sturdy, ankle-high hiking boots, a spare T-shirt, water bottles, sunscreen, rain/wind jacket, money for the cable car ride down and for refreshments.

- Transportation costs will be charged on a pro-rata basis. There are 8 seats available on our hotel bus. If the bus is already full, please follow us in your own car.
