Trip to the "Dreiflüssestadt Passau" (three-river city)

Visit Venice on the Danube with our animator Lothar - the "floating city" in the middle of the three rivers Danube, Inn and Ilz. Passau's unique location evokes memories of the lagoon city. The cityscape with its Italian-style architecture and picturesque alleyways is also reminiscent of the south. After devastating fires in the 17th century, only Italian master builders were commissioned to rebuild the city. Artists such as Giovanni Battista Carlone and Carlo Lurago created a new Passau in the solemn Baroque style.
