You can expect an exclusive fine dining experience with local specialties, prepared over an open fire in a log cabin. Afterwards you will visit a bear's hibernation site and learn all about the local bear population.

You will meet our bear experts Filip & Malin outside Edsbyn. They are among Sweden's leading experts in the field of bear watching, bear safaris and wildlife watching in general. From there, they will take you in their car to their log cabin in the nearby forest. There you can indulge in culinary delights in Filip & Malin's traditional log cabin. They will prepare an exclusive dinner for you over an open fire. Outdoor cooking in a traditional log cabin. The menu includes reindeer roasted in bacon with a "whey butter" chanterelle sauce, roast potatoes and lingonberry jam. For dessert, Filip & Malin will prepare the local Hälsingland cheesecake for you and serve it with cloudberry jam. Afterwards, they will take you to the hibernation site of a brown bear and tell you everything you want to know about bears. Throughout the experience, you can ask Filip & Malin all kinds of questions about the local bear population and wildlife in Scandinavia.
