Heiden, the Biedermeier village
On the sun terrace, high above Lake Constance, nestled in the hilly landscape of the Appenzeller Vorderland, lies the Biedermeier village of Heiden. It is an excellent starting point for hikes and offers various places of interest. Henry Dunant, the founder of the Red Cross, also appreciated the tranquillity and landscape of the village with its 4000 inhabitants. At the end of the hike, let yourself be surprised by a little "Probiererli".
