Lamaventura - llama trekking

Llamas are welcome companions on entertaining excursions and helpful pack animals when trekking in the mountains for several days. The focus is on trust between humans and animals.

Description

Llamas are originally pack animals, load carriers and not intended for riding. Participants lead the llama on a halter with a rope. During the trek, the animals are saddled and packed.

Llamas have no expectations of us, but teach us empathy, self-confidence and a slightly different way of dealing with time. As llamas are herd animals, the individual animals generally follow the alpha animal, which runs ahead. Nevertheless, they trustingly adapt to their own leader. If a participant lets go of the llama due to fear, discomfort or any other reason, the animal remains with the herd.

Even people who are not used to animals can easily learn how to handle the llamas and have a sense of achievement.

Trekking and excursions with llamas are possible for groups of 2 or more people, but are also very suitable for groups of up to 25 people. The number of llamas and the tours are adapted to the participants.
