It has now been 10 years since local architect and owner Heinz Julen opened the Backstage Boutique in May 2011. The Backstage Hotel impresses with its unique architecture and design, which reflects a touch of New York City. Although the hotel is located in the heart of Zermatt with a view of the Matterhorn, it feels like being on 5th Avenue. Unique architecture and design with a combination of art and living is not to be missed at Heinz Julen. Not only does the hotel bear Heinz Julen's signature throughout, but all the furnishings are handmade in his atelier in Zermatt. einz Julen lives with his family only two floors above us. Every backstage visitor and employee is a guest at Heinz's home. Therefore we live our hotel philosophy "My home is your home".
