The Great Crawl—The World Beneath Our Feet

Come experience an exciting afternoon and explore the life beneath our feet together with the environmental educators from the Zittauer Gebirge Nature Conservation Center! Once we step into the fascinating world of soil organisms, a whole new realm opens up to us. Armed with a keen sense of discovery, magnifying glasses, microscopes, and identification guides, we’ll explore which animals live here in the forest soil and learn about the importance of these creatures to us humans. Is there only one type of earthworm? Do millipedes really have 1,000 legs? How far can a springtail jump? Together, we’ll get to the bottom of all these and many more exciting questions.

Thematic games and interactive team-building activities round out the program.
