Rehbach–Oberjoch Hike
From the hotel, take Trail No. 25 to Krummen Bach and continue on to Alpsteigtobel. From here, the trail leads to the former border station and on to Oberjoch. Trail No. 23 then takes us to Unterjoch. From there, head back to the hotel via the Steineberg. Walking time: approx. 4 hours.
Unterjoch Loop
Start at the hotel; the trail then leads down to the bridge and past the wooden barn. After about 200 meters, turn right onto the winter hiking trail. Follow this trail to the town center; to return to the hotel, you can either take the same route or the route through the Krummenbach district—to do so, keep left on the way back toward Steinbergweg. The route then takes you back to the starting point via Krummenbach.
Total length: approx. 7.5 km · 200 hm
Reservoir Loop
A relatively easy hike through the beautiful Vils Valley, up to Schattwald. Along the way, you’ll pass two short, steep sections, the Vils Alpine stream, and the Schattwald Reservoir, which has been supplying the Tannheim Valley with high-quality electricity for several years. (Please note that this hike is only recommended when there is little snow on the ground or after a prolonged break in precipitation)

Rehbach – Steineberg – Rehbach Loop
From the hotel, the trail first leads down to the bridge. Passing the wooden barn, continue on until, after about 200 meters, the entrance to the winter hiking trail appears on the right. Follow this trail at a leisurely pace to the fork and keep left there toward Steinbergweg. The trail then leads back to the starting point via the Krummenbach. In total, the loop is about 5.5 kilometers long with an elevation gain of about 170 meters. Walking time: approx. 2 hours
Rehbach - Buchel Alpe - Rehbach
This short alpine tour begins right at the hotel—follow the signs toward Unterjoch (see first recommendation). Once you arrive in Unterjoch, the trail takes you past tennis courts, running parallel to the main road
. When you reach the large parking lot, cross the road and follow the signs along the winding road to the Buchel Alpe.
