The starting point for the “Golden Tour” in the heart of Central Switzerland is Alpnachstad. In Alpnachstad, you’ll board the world’s steepest cogwheel railway and reach the summit of 2,132 possibilities. At 2,132 meters above sea level, you’ll be welcomed with the unique Pilatus hospitality. Treat yourself to a meal at one of the restaurants. The dining team will be happy to fulfill your wishes. The breathtaking panorama and the view of the Alpine mountain range will help make your stay unforgettable. Take the “Dragon Ride” aerial tramway and the panoramic gondola down to Kriens. From the valley station, it’s a five-minute walk to the stop for Bus No. 1, which will take you comfortably to Lucerne. On Lake Lucerne, you’ll enjoy a boat ride and views of the surrounding mountains. The wonders continue.
The “Golden Tour” can easily be taken in the opposite direction.
