Since 2014, the Burgrieden Festival has been welcoming audiences to the 20,000 square meter open-air site in Upper Swabia.

Many years ago, Tah-scha-tunga, the chief of the Assiniboins, gave his daughter Ribanna to the brave Westman Old Firehand as his wife. The love between her and the famous white hunter was to be a sign of eternal peace between his tribe and the white immigrants.

However, from the very beginning, a shadow lies over the happiness of the two. Parranoh, the white chief of the warlike Ponca, also wants Ribanna as his wife - whatever the cost.

He allies himself with unscrupulous whites, weaves a dangerous web of intrigue, betrayal and murder and leaves no stone unturned in his quest to get Ribanna under his control.

When Winnetou and Old Shatterhand intervene to help Ribanna and her family, a journey into the past begins for the chief of all Apaches, for he too once lost his heart to the young chieftain's daughter.

In order to stop Parranoh and protect Ribanna's life, the blood brothers, together with Old Firehand and Sam Hawkens, plunge into a fierce battle between love and death.
