Leonstain Castle

Universitätsstraße 104, Klagenfurt am Wörthersee
First we head to Leonstain Castle and visit the bust of Johannes
Brahms in the castle courtyard. From there we hike
up a few steps to one of the most beautiful viewpoints
on Lake Wörthersee, the Hohe Gloriette with a fantastic view
over the entire lake. Enjoy the unique panorama, combined
with the classical sounds and an information board
about the work of the world-famous composer Johannes Brahms
(1877-79) in Pörtschach am Wörthersee. The route continues past the
Leonstein ruins to the Niedere Gloriette. Then it's back
to the tourist information office.
