A beautiful stalactite cave that you can visit on a 50min guided tour. 6,2℃ as the year-round temperature recommend long-sleeved clothing. Admission 8,- / person. In summer, Saturday and Sunday to visit.
From the "bus terminus" is a good 30 min to Gasselhütte with the cave (from the parking lot near Ebensee about 2.5 hours). And the last ascent has it already something in itself! Steep, large stones, roots and the last 100 meters were then also somewhat exposed, halfway free from giddiness you should be there already. (This would also be an advantage in the cave). Also, you should bring the right condition and sturdy shoes.
The cave itself is really very impressive! In the 50-minute guided tour you learn a lot about the formation of the cave and see beautiful stalactite formations. The cave is definitely an absolute top recommendation! And a nice adventure....
