The Prettau mine

The Prettau Mine is a former copper mine in the Ahrntal Valley and today a show mine. During a guided tour, visitors can discover the fascinating world of miners and travel by mine train deep into the historic tunnels inside the mountain.

Visits are only possible as part of a guided tour.

Advance booking is required. Same-day bookings are only possible by phone. Online bookings can be made until the day before.
