An enchanting forest hike, past karst springs, to an idyllic little mountain lake. Even in bad weather, this hike has its own charm.
Since the route runs mostly through a densely forested area, off the beaten path, we’d be protected from the rain by the thick canopy and could continue hiking with dry feet.
At the end of our hike, at Ödensee, we can stop for a break at the “Kohlröserlhütte” before heading back across the high moor.
In good weather during the summer months, it’s possible to swim in Ödensee.
