Guided walk to mystical places around the Siechenweiher on the rural outskirts of Meersburg.
Outside the medieval cities was the place of execution of death sentences, the Henkersberg. In Meersburg this was the Trielberg, which offers a wonderful view of Lake Constance and the surrounding countryside. The neighboring Siechenweiher used to be a place of isolation and quarantine for people suffering from infectious diseases. During the plague period, this was the area of lepers.
The tour ends at the present-day cemetery. Famous Meerburg personalities are buried here, including Annette von Droste-Hülshoff. With its historic tree population, the cemetery is a place with a special atmosphere. Learn interesting and bizarre facts away from the hustle and bustle.
