Hike along the Schmittenhöhe high-altitude promenade

Take the bus from the hotel in the direction of Zell am See / Schmitteltal. From there, take the Schmittenhöhenbahn cable car up to the Schmittenhöhe. This is also where the leisurely hike to the Sonnkogel begins.

Here you can stop for a coffee and cake at the Sonnkogel Restaurant.

Afterwards, take the Sonnenalmbahn back down to the valley, where you can take the bus directly back to the hotel.
