The Kaunergrat Nature Park: The predicate "nature park" is a distinction for a characteristic landscape area, which is home to a variety of animal and plant species, but in which cultural-historical wealth and an exceptional cultural landscape are also cultivated. A nature park is particularly suitable for outdoor recreation as well as for research and the communication of knowledge about nature. Another important task is sustainable regional development.
