Hike up the Imberg

Start at the Imbergbahn mountain station. First through a forest passage and then turn left following the signs to Alpengasthof Hochbühl. This is where the circular trail begins via Alpe Glutschwanden and Alpengasthof Hochwies. On the sunny high plateau of the Imberg, you can enjoy wonderful views from the westernmost peak of the Nagelfluhkette, the Hochhädrich, as far as Immenstadt. The circular trail ends again at the Alpengasthof Hochbühl. From here, take the same route back to the mountain station. The tour can be extended as desired: either in a large loop via the Alpstüble Moos and on to the Alpengasthof Hochwies or from the Hochhädrich via the Hubertushaus to the Hörmoosalpe. Here the connection to the Falkenhütte or directly back via the Hochbühlalpe to the Imbergbahn mountain station.
