Milky Way nature photography

We take a cab up to Melchboden on the Zillertaler Höhenstraße. We hike to the Kreuzjoch (400 vertical meters), where we have a good view of the Zillertal Alps Nature Park and the Tux Alps. Andreas Neurauter is a passionate nature photographer. For many years, he has dedicated himself to landscape photography in the Alps as well as astronomy. After we have taken our snapshots, we will hike back to Melchboden. Please bring warm clothing, gloves, cap, headlamp, camera, lenses, tripod, snack and tea!

Character: moderately difficult tour with approx. 400 meters of ascent and descent

Duration: approx. 6 hours; of which 2.5 hours are pure walking time

Meeting point: 9.00 pm - Mayrhofen train station

Cost contribution: adults € 15.00 (free for guests of nature park partner businesses)
