A very old healing method for draining waste products through the skin, which is one of the drainage and elimination methods. This method has been used in medical and naturopathic therapy for over 100 years. Using the "life awakener" (Baunscheidt needle apparatus), the skin is finely needled. This opens small skin pores and "pathological" substances can escape. A special Baunscheidt oil is then finely massaged into the skin to intensify the effect. The procedure is also known as Western acupuncture.
