ING-1 Guided cycling tour in the Finnish Forest, through the history of 400 years of Finnish Forest.

Come and experience nature and cultural history. You will be guided through the area and hear exciting stories about life in Finnskogen over the last 400 years. We will look at the remains of a Finnish house in Fansen, a sawmill village in Pankfors in trackless terrain and end at the beautiful Locksjön and the smokehouse there. The tour starts in Rimsbo, 20 km east of Skålsjögården. We cycle on unpaved roads, 12 km single track, and take a hike to Pankfors for about 2,5 km. If you cycle directly back to Rimsbo it's 9 km, I can also offer a return trip. The tour takes about 5 hours. You bring your own packed lunch and I provide coffee by the open fire and light refreshments in Locksjön. Languages: SWE / ENG
