Rhine Gorge Adventure Train

With the open observation car, train passengers, hikers and river rafters enjoy the adventure trip along the turquoise-green Rhine. From April 22 to October 22, 2023, the Rhine Gorge Adventure Train will run every Saturday and Sunday between Landquart and Ilanz.

Ruinaulta is the name of the monumental Rhine Gorge in Romansh. What began with the Flims landslide presents itself today as a unique natural scenery. Between Ilanz and Reichenau, the Rhine has carved a path through the rock for 10,000 years. The result is a gorge that rightly bears the nickname "Swiss Grand Canyon".
